One of the most important things is that you are comfortable where you work. Make sure every thing is where you want things to be. Spend some time organizing your desk.

Do set a time for a break. Get up and go outside for 20 minutes exercise. Some people like to open up the office or turn on the heater, light and go exercise for 10- 20 min. They become more alert for work and the office is warm/cool enough to do their tasks.

Make sure your family understand that this is WORK time. They should only come to you only when it is urgent or there is an emergency Yes, make time for the unexpected as well as the expected.
